New Year, New View.
“If you want something different, you are going to have to do something different.”
Jack Canfield’s quote runs true as I kick off my new year with an 8-day round-trip through Southern California with my two sisters and my nephew. Our goal was to catch the sunrise and sunset each day, to sit together and reflect on years past, and intentionally plant new seeds for the next decade of prosperity.
My favorite sunrise so far happened in the desert near Joshua Tree National Park. I was cozied up in bed in an igloo and the horizon was an unobstructed 180-degree glow of promise and opportunity. “What is the best that can happen today?”, I thought.
How wild to have Megan, my business partner, in the office while I kick off the new year with activities like hiking, swimming, and touring! Although it might appear counterproductive, the time away will contribute to defining how I can best serve Pneuma Lab, our customers, and our partners by changing my daily rhythm and perspective on a day well designed.
